Klagshamns Ryttarförening is a non-profit association aimed at people of all ages, regardless of background. We offer a meeting place in a unique environment and our goal is to create a lifelong interest in horses and riding. Through education and community, we develop the interaction between people, animals, and nature. Our core values of camaraderie, respect, and joy reflect everything we do.

We are Skåne's first quality-certified riding school and now we are looking for you who want to help continue developing our operations into one of the best! In 2020, we also received the award for Riding School of the Year. We are located just outside Malmö at beautiful Klagshamnsudden and have a unique outdoor environment with riding paths, outdoor arenas by the sea, and a newly built riding facility with a state-of-the-art stable and a large airy riding hall.

As an employee at Klagshamns Ryttarförening, you are an important asset to the riding operations as you contribute to the professional care of the horses. Of course, you are knowledgeable about horses and prioritize their well-being.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our workgroup where we all work together and focus on putting horses and students first.

You will work in the stable with tasks such as mucking, keeping the stable clean, mucking pastures, feeding, turning horses in/out, and of course being involved in the care and management of the horses.

The work also involves driving a tractor (emptying manure carts, bringing in hay/straw, and maintaining the riding arenas) and keeping the facility clean externally.

Your work approach is structured, and you have a good ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability, and your mindset is characterized by a positive and service-oriented attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Practical and handy

· Able to lift

· B driver's license

· Good horse experience, horse caretaker exam or equivalent

Your working hours are scheduled for weekdays.

The position is a probationary employment of 75% with good prospects for permanent employment. The position is available immediately or by agreement. Salary according to collective agreement, and we also offer employee benefits such as wellness grants.
